Hawks sign Martin

Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Atlanta Hawks signed forward Cartier Martin on Tuesday.

Per club policy, terms were not disclosed.

Martin played in 41 games, starting three times, last season for the Washington Wizards, and averaged 6.6 points and 2.4 rebounds.

The five-year veteran has appeared in 161 career NBA games with Charlotte, Golden State and Washington, averaging 5.4 points and 2.1 rebounds.
