Hawks exercise option on G Jenkins

Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Atlanta Hawks exercised the third- year option on the contract of John Jenkins on Thursday.

The move will keep the Hawks’ 2012 first round selection in Atlanta through the 2014-15 season.

As a rookie last season, Jenkins averaged 6.1 points and 1.5 rebounds over 61 games.
