Memphis, TN (SportsNetwork.com) – The Memphis Grizzlies signed forward Jarnell Stokes to a multi-year contract on Monday.
Stokes was acquired by Memphis in a trade on draft day in exchange for a 2016 second-round draft pick after being selected 35th overall by the Utah Jazz in June’s draft.
The 20-year-old Memphis native averaged 13.0 points and 9.6 rebounds over three seasons. He ranked fourth in school history with 40 double-doubles and led the Southeastern Conference in offensive rebounding during his final two seasons.
