Memphis, TN (SportsNetwork.com) – The Memphis Grizzlies have waived veteran forward Earl Clark and center Hassan Whiteside, the team announced Wednesday.

Clark signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Grizzlies in September after spending last season with Cleveland and New York. He averaged 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds over 45 games with the Cavaliers, then was traded to Philadelphia in February and subsequently waived before signing a pair of 10-day contracts with the Knicks.

Over five NBA seasons with five different teams (Phoenix, Orlando, Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland and New York), Clark owns career averages of 4.4 points and 3.0 rebounds.

Whiteside, who appeared in 19 games with Sacramento from 2010-12, played in Lebanon and China last season. He also was signed by the Grizzlies on Sept. 25.
