Giants activate Adrianza from DL

San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – The San Francisco Giants activated infielder Ehire Adrianza from the 15-day disabled list following Wednesday’s 5-2 win over the Oakland Athletics.

Adrianza hasn’t played since June 21 due to a right hamstring strain. He’s batting .213 with four RBI in 46 games this year.

The Giants also optioned outfielder Juan Perez to Triple-A Fresno. Perez has been recalled from the minors three times this season and is 7-for-45 at the plate for the parent club with nine starts.
