George Michael is Back, and Bringing a Slew of Tour Dates with Him!

Fans were shocked when George Michael had to cancel his 65-date tour last year when he was only 46 dates in November 2011. And after it was discovered that he had a case of pneumonia so severe that it put his life in jeopardy, the world waited anxiously to hear how the singer would do. Making a recovery in December, doctors and Michael knew that it would take some time until he had made a full recovery and was able to reschedule the dates he had to cancel. Now, that time has come and George Michael is ready to show his fans he’s going to make it up to them, and more.

The rescheduled tour dates pick up in Vienna, Austria, the same place Michael was when he came down with the serious lung infection. Two dates will be played in total, September 4 and September 6, 2012, and Michael has something special planned for the first date. Wanting to show nurses and doctors how thankful he is for saving his life and bringing him back to health, Michael is giving 1,000 members of the staff at the AKH Hospital where he was treated free tickets to the show.

From Vienna, Michael will travel to Paris, France; Amsterdam, Netherlands; London, UK; and Liverpool, UK, to name just a few of the singer’s stops. All of the stops thus far are rescheduled dates, with the exception of the September 14 show at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.
