Flames place Jones on IR
Calgary, AB (SportsNetwork.com) – The Calgary Flames placed winger David Jones injured reserve Thursday with an upper body injury.
The move is retroactive to Oct. 9 and the Flames said Jones is week-to-week.
Jones has two goals and two assists in four games this season.
The Flames made a pair of other roster moves Thursday, recalling center Blair Jones from Abbotsford of the American Hockey League and activating defenseman Chris Breen from injured non-roster and assigning him to Abbotsford on conditioning loan.
