Halloween is over, there’s a chill in the air, and football season is well underway. Fans in the Baltimore area are doing their best to cheer on their Ravens, but with their current record of three wins and five losses, it seems as though they could do with a bit more cheering from their faithful home crowd. The team is third in the AFC Northern Division, but we’re only about halfway through the season, so there is a chance to turn things around and get some more wins. Their recent loss to the Browns, a team in their own division, was upsetting, but fans believe their team can still climb in the rankings.

After all, it wasn’t too long ago that Baltimore dominated the division, with their main division rivals being the Steelers. Today, things have changed with the Bengals being on top and the Browns in second place. Baltimore fans still have fond memories of those winning days though, and so does the team. They will not let their position slide without quite a bit of fighting for dominance!

What has been going wrong for the Ravens? As happens with many teams in the NFL, sometimes things just don’t go their way. In the most recent game against the Browns, QB Joe Flacco faced a mountain of pressure. He had a very rough first half, and even though he seemed more composed after half time, it was not enough to bring about a win. During the game, he was sacked five times and was hit eight times. Despite the troubles he had, he still finished the game with 250 yards and two touchdowns. Still, it wasn’t enough to eke out a win against the Browns who solidified their spot in second place.

Does it matter that the Ravens are struggling right now? For the fans, it sure does! If you are a fan and you want to show your support, it’s time that you got off the couch and got down to the stadium. Instead of just tailgating, get some tickets and cheer on your team to some more wins this season. It’s not too late!
