Falcons lose rookie LB Spruill for season

Flowery Branch, GA (SportsNetwork.com) – Atlanta Falcons rookie linebacker Marquis Spruill will miss the 2014 season because of a torn ACL.

Spruill, a fifth-round pick out of Syracuse, was hurt during practice Wednesday.

A four-year starter at Syracuse, Spruill finished second in program history with 41 tackles for loss.
