Eagles QB Foles leaves game
Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles left Sunday’s game following the end of the first quarter with an apparent shoulder injury and will not return.
Foles was sacked on the final play of the opening quarter by Whitney Mercilus and fell hard on his left shoulder. He departed under his own power and was taken to the locker room for x-rays and further evaluation.
Foles completed 10-of-13 attempts for 124 yards, one touchdown and an interception.
Mark Sanchez took over under center for the Birds’ first series of the second quarter and Foles’ return is questiomable.
