Ducks D Fowler has sprained MCL

Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Anaheim Ducks announced that defenseman Cam Fowler has suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee and will miss a minimum of three weeks.

Fowler underwent an MRI on Wednesday which revealed the damage, and expected recovery time is in the 3-to-5 week range without surgery.

The 22-year-old, fourth-year blueliner leads all club defensemen with six goals, 30 assists and 36 points over 67 games.
