Dodgers reinstate Crawford from paternity list
Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday reinstated outfielder Carl Crawford from the paternity list and optioned infielder Alex Guerrero to Triple-A Albuquerque.
Crawford was absent from LA’s two-game series with the Arizona Diamondbacks in Sydney, Australia due to the birth of his third child.
The 32-year-old appeared in 116 games for the club in 2013 and batted .283 with six homers, 30 doubles and 15 stolen bases.
Guerrero hit .300, with a team leading nine RBI during his first major league spring training. The 27-year-old Cuban signed with Los Angeles as a free agent on Oct. 21.
