Dodgers’ Puig leaves game

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) – Los Angeles Dodgers rookie Yasiel Puig left Friday’s game with the Colorado Rockies in the fourth inning with an apparent left hip injury.

Puig exited Thursday’s 6-1 win in the eighth inning after experiencing discomfort in his hip, which he apparently injured after colliding with the right-field fence at Coors Field on July 3.

He went 0-for-2 before leaving.
