Dodgers’ Haren has shoulder procedure
Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Dan Haren underwent surgery Wednesday to clean out the AC joint in his non- throwing shoulder.
The Dodgers expect the veteran hurler to be recovered in time for spring training.
Haren put together a respectable first season in Los Angeles after signing with the team as a free agent in November. The 34-year-old made 32 starts and produced a 13-11 record with a 4.02 earned run average, though he was not used in the Dodgers’ National League Division Series loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.
The three-time All-Star has a $10 million player option on his contract for next season.
