Devils place Havlat on IR
Newark, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) – The New Jersey Devils placed forward Martin Havlat on injured reserve Monday with a lower-body injury.
The move is retroactive to Oct. 21, the day he took 18 shifts in 4-3 overtime loss to the New York Rangers.
Havlat had missed the Devils’ previous game after suffering a gruesome facial injury that required stitches in a loss at Washington on Oct. 16.
Additionally, forward Mike Cammalleri is day-to-day after taking an elbow to the jaw in Friday’s shootout loss to Dallas.
