Dayton hopes to build off banner season
Dayton, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – The University of Dayton team will kick off its 2015 season at Robert Morris and play six home games as part of an 11-game schedule.
The Flyers are coming off an 8-3 record under coach Rick Chamberlin and hope to challenge for both the Pioneer Football League title and an FCS playoff bid.
Dayton will open the campaign with a visit to Robert Morris on Sept. 5. After a bye week, the Flyers will play their home opener against Duquesne on Sept. 19 followed by a matchup against visiting Kennesaw State on Sept. 26.
Within PFL action, Dayton’s home games are against defending champion San Diego (Oct. 10), Butler (Oct. 24), Jacksonville (Oct. 31) and Marist (Nov. 14).
