Davis included on Tigers’ ALDS roster
Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) – Rajai Davis is on the Detroit Tigers’ 25-man roster for the American League Division Series. Whether the outfielder is in the starting lineup for Thursday’s opener against the Baltimore Orioles remains unclear.
Davis suffered a sprained pelvic ligament in Saturday’s loss to the Minnesota Twins and missed the regular-season finale Sunday.
Left-hander Kyle Lobstein and infielder Hernan Perez are also on the roster. Erstwhile Orioles closer Jim Johnson, who saved 101 games from 2012-13, didn’t make the cut after a terrible season.
Max Scherzer, the reigning AL Cy Young Award winner, will start Game One for Detroit.
