Dalton highlights AFC’s best in October
New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton was selected as the AFC’s best offensive player for the month of October.
Dalton completed 89-of-131 passes for 1,246 yards and 11 touchdowns to only three interceptions in Weeks 5-8 for the AFC North-leading Bengals.
Indianapolis Colts linebacker Robert Mathis picked up the defensive award after registering 13 tackles and four sacks, forcing two fumbles and recording a safety.
New England Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski rounded out the months top performers, converting all nine field goals he attempted to earn the special teams award.
