Landover, MD (SportsNetwork.com) – Chicago Bears starting quarterback Jay Cutler left Sunday’s game against the Redskins in the second quarter and will not return.

Cutler dropped back and was sacked by Washington’s Chris Baker early in the period. After being down on the turf, Cutler limped off under his own power to the locker room for evaluation.

Josh McCown subbed under center.

The club later stated Cutler suffered a groin injury and his return was questionable, but downgraded that at the outset of the third quarter.
