If you are looking for something fun to end the year with, you may want to consider “Cougar — The Musical“.  This may not be a Broadway hit for the snooty classes, but it is sure to be a memorable night full of provocative fun and sassy singing!  The show is playing until March 3, 2013 at St. Luke’s Theatre in New York, New York, so be sure not to miss it!

A cougar is, of course, a mountain lion, but that isn’t want this musical is all about…no, it is all about older women on the prowl for sexy younger men!  This is a four-person show staring Mary Mossberg, Babs Winn and Brenda Braxton as the vivacious so-called cougars, and the sexy young man of the musical is the talented Danny Bernardy.

Forget rehashed songs, this musical has all original lyrics and music written by the talented Donna Moore of the “Cougar Cabaret” show which was a precursor to the musical.  With catchy songs like “I’m My Own Queen”, “Gary’s Right” and “On the Prowl” you are sure to get these toe tappers stuck in your head for weeks.  The tunes run from bluesy numbers to romantic ballads…well, as romantic as a song can be when sung to a vibrator!  This certainly isn’t a show for the faint of heart or the humorless!

Unlike what Hollywood may be trying to tell you, the message here is clear: older women and younger men make for some great hot couples!  The website even offers “Affirmations for Women over 40” for those that need a little boost to keep up their hunt.  One thing is for sure, you will walk away from this musical feeling the message of empowerment and self-love that is the heart of the story here.

So get the girls together and have a girls night out you won’t forget.  This musical is as funny as it is heartwarming, with a message to love ourselves at every age, and that love itself is truly ageless.  Find tickets to Cougar the Musical online today.
