Chiefs sign 1st-round pick Ford

Kansas City, MO (SportsNetwork.com) – The Kansas City Chiefs signed linebacker and No. 23 overall draft pick Dee Ford on Saturday.

Ford, who is 6-foot-2, had 20 1/2 sacks in parts of five seasons for Auburn and was an All-SEC selection his senior season.

He sacked Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston twice in the BCS title game against Florida State.

The Chiefs have signed all six of their 2014 draft picks.
