Chicago’s Toews leaves Pittsburgh game with injury

Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – Chicago Blackhawks center Jonathan Toews suffered an upper-body injury in Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The play occurred 13:20 into the second, as he was driven hard into the boards by Pittsburgh defenseman Brooks Orpik. He left the game holding his left shoulder and did not return.

On the season, he has 28 goals and 40 assists in 76 games.
