CFL, players agree to push up free-agency deadline
Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – The Canadian Football League and its players’ association announced on Tuesday that the deadline for free agency has been pushed up three days.
The original deadline for players to declare themselves free agents if not already under contract was next Friday, Feb. 15, but that was moved to Tuesday Feb. 11, effective at noon (ET).
