CFL fines Riders QB Durant

Regina, SK (SportsNetwork.com) – The Canadian Football League on Wednesday fined Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Darian Durant an undisclosed amount for a violation of the league’s social media policy.

CFL.ca reported that Durant sent an “offensive and inappropriate” tweet in response to a fan.

The 31-year-old South Carolina native has thrown for 3,361 yards and 27 touchdowns against eight interceptions this season. Saskatchewan is coming off a 17-12 loss against Montreal this past Sunday.
