Cardinals recall Blazek

St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) – The St. Louis Cardinals have recalled pitcher Michael Blazek from Triple-A Memphis and optioned pitcher Tyler Lyons to Memphis.

Blazek posted a 2.31 ERA and one save in eight games with Memphis this season. He was on St. Louis’ roster earlier this season (May 26-29), but did not appear in any games.

Lyons was 2-3 with a 5.51 ERA in six starts for the Cardinals this season.
