Bucs RB Martin won’t play versus Rams
Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without starting running back Doug Martin on Sunday for their matchup with the St. Louis Rams.
Martin was limited in Tampa’s season opener with a knee injury, carrying just nine times for nine yards. He appeared in just six games last year after a breakout rookie campaign in 2012, spending the bulk of the season on injured reserve with a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
Bobby Rainey will start in Martin’s place.
