Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) – Tampa Bay Buccaneers starting quarterback Josh McCown left Thursday night’s game against the Falcons with a right thumb injury.
McCown appeared to suffer the injury when he hit his hand on a helmet after throwing a pass.
The journeyman completed 5-of-12 passes for 58 yards and an interception before leaving late in the second quarter. The Bucs trailed 35-0 when McCown left the game.
Mike Glennon, who started 13 games last season, replaced McCown.
