Bryan Adams Goes “Bare Bones” for Current Tour
Often when rock stars get so big, they think back to when it all started and find that they need to go back to their roots. That’s just what’s happened to Bryan Adams and according to the recently sold-out shows in Australia, fans think it was the perfect time to make the move.
It was there that Adams has just finished wrapping up a leg of his “Bare Bones” tour, which promotes his album, “Bryan Adams — Bare Bones.” The album is an acoustic version of Adams’ biggest hits and the tour is no different. Fans who attend any of the shows can expect to find just Bryan Adams alone with his guitar and his voice. No big on-stage fireworks, no smoke or wind machines, and no big bands behind him. Just him, the fans, and the music, the way it should be. For about half the show, pianist Gary Breit also joins Adams for accompaniment.
Adams does bring a little more than the music to the show, though. So far he’s also enlightened fans with personal stories in between songs; whether or not they had anything to do with the music, it’s made for a show that not only goes back to Adams’ roots, but also brings fans in on a more personal level than perhaps they’ve ever felt before with the multi-platinum rocker.
Bryan Adams has now left Australia as he prepares to bring “Bare Bones” to the U.S. He starts at the State Theater in Minneapolis on October 6 and will be performing different dates throughout the country until October 15 when he wraps that leg up in Dallas, Texas.
Adams is known for being one of the best live acts on the music scene and with this tour, he’s somehow managed to find a way to up the ante one more time. Find a full listing of concert dates here: Bryan Adams Tickets.
