Bruce off bereavement list for Reds

Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – The Cincinnati Reds activated right fielder Jay Bruce off the bereavement list Friday.

Bruce went on the bereavement list Tuesday after his grandfather passed away.

Bruce is hitting .215 with 10 home runs this season.

To make room for Bruce, the club sent pitcher Curtis Partch to Triple-A Louisville.
