New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – The Cleveland Browns took Oklahoma State cornerback Justin Gilbert with the No. 8 pick in Thursday’s NFL Draft after making a pair of trades.
The Browns acquired a first- and fourth-round pick in the 2015 draft from the Buffalo Bills for this year’s No. 4 pick, dropping down to No. 9.
Then, they moved up one place after dealing the No. 145 overall pick this year to the Minnesota Vikings.
Gilbert, who is 6-foot and 202 pounds, had 12 interceptions in four years at Oklahoma State, including seven this past season.
