Browns sign first-round pick Mingo
Berea, OH (Sports Network) – The Cleveland Browns have signed linebacker Barkevious Mingo to a four-year contract.
The Browns selected Mingo with the sixth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Mingo played in 40 games at LSU from 2010-12, with 15 starts, and posted 119 career tackles, 15 sacks, 11 passes defensed, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
Mingo appeared in 13 games (10 starts) as a junior in 2012, posting 38 tackles, 4 1/2 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
The club now has all of its 2013 draft selections under contract.
