Broncos put DT Vickerson on IR
Englewood, CO (SportsNetwork.com) – The Denver Broncos have placed defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson on injured reserve due to a dislocated hip injury.
Vickerson suffered the injury in last week’s 34-31 overtime loss to the Denver Broncos.
He started all 11 games this season for the Broncos, registering 22 tackles, a pass defensed and one sack.
The Broncos added defensive tackle Sione Fua to their roster to replace Vickerson. Fua was a third-round draft pick of the Carolina Panthers in the 2011 NFL-Draft.
In 27 career games for the Panthers he has recorded 22 tackles.
