Brewers’ Ramirez returns from DL
Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) – The Milwaukee Brewers activated veteran third baseman Aramis Ramirez from the 15-day disabled list on Wednesday.
Ramirez will be inserted into the Brewers’ lineup as the designated hitter against the Twins on Wednesday after missing three weeks with a strained left hamstring.
He came up limping after a defensive play in the fourth inning of Milwaukee’s 5-4 win over the Yankees on May 10 and has not played since.
In 34 games this season, the 35-year-old has hit .252 with five home runs and 21 RBI.
