Brewers’ P Fiers out 9-12 weeks with broken forearm
Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) – Milwaukee Brewers right-handed pitcher Mike Fiers will miss 9-12 weeks due to a broken right forearm, the club announced on Sunday.
Fiers suffered the injury on Saturday while pitching for Triple-A Nashville after he took a line drive off his arm.
The 28-year-old compiled a 1-4 record with Milwaukee this season with a 7.25 earned run average over 11 games, including three starts.
