Braves extend qualifying offer to Santana
Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Atlanta Braves made a qualifying offer to starting pitcher Ervin Santana on Monday.
Santana went 14-10 with a 3.95 ERA and 179 strikeouts last season, his first with Atlanta. The right-hander previously spent eight seasons with the Angels and one in Kansas City.
Santana has until 5:00 p.m. (ET) on Monday, Nov. 10 to accept the offer or become a free agent.
