Bon Jovi’s Got an Album and a Tour Coming Next Year

There’s news for Bon Jovi fans and the best kind — vague and mysterious!

Rumors are that the band will be releasing a new album in March of 2013, and that they’ll be headed out on tour to promote it the month before. It’s even thought that tickets for the concert will go on sale this December. That would make them a great holiday gift but, none of it has been confirmed yet.

All of the news comes from “a reliable source close to the band who declined to be identified,” according to Examiner.com. And while that may make it all sound like just more feed for the rumor mill fodder, Jon Bon Jovi did say that the group had been busy writing songs for a new album. It’ll be a welcome change for fans, who have been listening to “The Circle” since 2009.

What has been confirmed is that the guitarist Richie Sambora, is going to be a two-month tour soon that will take him around the United States and Europe. This will be to promote his solo album, “Aftermath of the Lowdown,” which will be out on September 18. Could this solo tour be so short because he’s got to get back for another?

Will you go see Bon Jovi if they hit your city along the way of a tour? Or do you think it’s all just wishful thinking at this point?
