Bombers sign K DeAngelis

Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed three-time CFL All-Star kicker Sandro DeAngelis to the practice roster on Tuesday.

DeAngelis, who is the league’s all-time most accurate kicker — minimum 250 attempts — at 82.1 percent, was 30-of-39 in field goals last season for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The Most Outstanding Canadian of the 2008 Grey Cup began his career with the Calgary Stampeders in 2005. DeAngelis has also spent time with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Montreal Alouettes in addition to the Roughriders.
