Bobcats C Jefferson out vs. Cavs

Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) – Charlotte Bobcats center Al Jefferson will miss Friday night’s game against Cleveland due to an ankle injury.

Jefferson signed a three-year contract with the Bobcats in the offseason. He had 13 points and eight rebounds in Wednesday’s regular-season opener at Houston.

The 28-year-old Jefferson missed most of training camp with the injury.

In place of Jefferson, Bismack Biyombo will start at center.
