Blues place Schwartz on IR

St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) – The St. Louis Blues placed forward Jaden Schwartz on injured reserve Wednesday.

Schwartz’s status is week-to-week after suffering a right foot injury in Tuesday’s 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings.

The 22-year-old, who was selected 14th overall by the Blues in 2010, has posted 11 goals and 27 points over 31 games this season.

St. Louis also recalled forward Dmitrij Jaskin from Chicago (AHL). Jaskin has tallied one goal in six games with the Blues this season.
