Blue Jays P Jenkins has broken hand
St. Petersburg, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Toronto Blue Jays reliever Chad Jenkins suffered a broken right hand during batting practice on Thursday and will miss the remainder of the season.
The right-hander was hit by a ball while the Blue Jays took batting practice before their game against the Tampa Bay Rays, according to the team’s website.
Jenkins will miss four-to-six weeks with the injury. He had a 2.56 ERA in 21 appearances out of the bullpen this season.
