Toronto, ON (Sports Network) – The Toronto Blue Jays reinstated pitcher Aaron Loup from the paternity list and designated pitcher Chien-Ming Wang for assignment.

Loup is 4-6 with a 2.47 ERA and two saves in 53 appearances this season.

Wang lasted only three innings in Saturday’s 8-5 loss to the Astros, allowing five runs — four earned — on four hits and a walk. He went 1-2 with a 7.67 ERA in six starts for the Blue Jays this year.
