Blue Jays activate Rasmus

Bronx, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – The Toronto Blue Jays activated outfielder Colby Rasmus from the 15-day disabled list prior to Wednesday’s game against the New York Yankees.

To make room on the roster, the Blue Jays optioned outfielder Anthony Gose to Triple-A Buffalo.

Rasmus had been sidelined since May 12 with a right hamstring injury. He hit .222 with nine home runs and 19 RBI in 37 games before the injury.
