Blue Jackets ink Atkinson to 3-year extension

Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – The Columbus Blue Jackets signed forward Cam Atkinson to a three-year contract extension on Monday.

Atkinson has 13 goals and 12 assists in 58 games this season, his fourth in the NHL.

The 25-year-old Boston College product has 50 goals and 47 assists in 199 career games. He was selected by the Blue Jackets in the sixth round of the 2008 draft.
