Blue Bombers release Palardy, Anderson

Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have released kicker Justin Palardy and receiver Isaac Anderson.

Palardy joined the Blue Bombers midway through the 2010 season and has connected on 114-of-139 field goals during his four-year career. However, veteran Sandro DeAngelis joined the team earlier this month and has played each of the last two games.

Anderson was in his second season with the Bombers and has compiled 21 receptions for 244 yards in seven games.

The Bombers also added kicker/punter Brody McKnight to the practice roster.
