Blazers’ Batum out Tuesday
Portland, OR (SportsNetwork.com) – The Portland Trail Blazers confirmed that forward Nicolas Batum will miss Tuesday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets with a right knee contusion.
Batum hurt his knee late in Sunday’s 116-100 win over the Denver Nuggets. An MRI after the game revealed no structural damage.
The 25-year-old swingman is averaging 9.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists for Portland this season. He will be reevaluated later in the week.
