Blazers’ Batum breaks finger
Portland, OR (SportsNetwork.com) – Portland Trail Blazers forward Nicolas Batum suffered a broken middle finger on his left hand in the final seconds of Saturday’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, according to a report on the team’s website.
With 14 seconds remaining, Batum appeared to have his left finger get tangled in a Sixers’ player jersey.
Batum fouled out, but recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists to go along with six points.
Despite the injury, Batum is probable for Tuesday’s tilt with Sacramento.
