Bengals sign first-round pick Eifert
Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) – The Cincinnati Bengals signed tight end Tyler Eifert, the 21st overall pick in April’s draft, to a four-year contract on Monday.
The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Eifert won the 2012 Mackey Award as the nation’s top tight end during his senior season at Notre Dame. His 140 career catches are the most ever by a tight end in school history.
Last season, Eifert had 50 receptions for 685 yards and four touchdowns.
