Bengals’ Green active, no Burfict
Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green is active and expected to start Sunday’s game against Tennessee, a week after an early exit because of a toe injury.
However, linebacker Vontaze Burfict was inactive because of a concussion. The Bengals have a bye next week, giving Burfict extra time to recover.
Also sidelined for Cincinnati was guard Kevin Zeitler because of a calf injury.
Green was hurt in the first quarter of last Sunday’s game against Atlanta and returned to practice on Thursday. He was a full participant on Friday and was listed as probable on the injury report.
