Bears lose DT Melton for season

Lake Forest, IL (Sports Network) – Chicago defensive tackle Henry Melton will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL, Bears coach Marc Trestman confirmed Monday.

Melton was carted off the field after suffering the injury during the Bears’ 40-23 Sunday night win at Pittsburgh.

The 26-year-old Texas product didn’t have a sack this season after totaling 13 over the previous two years.
