Bears DE Allen inactive vs. Packers
Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) – Chicago Bears defensive end Jared Allen is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers due to an illness.
Allen, who did not practice all week, will have his streak of 113 consecutive starts halted and is sidelined for the first time since 2007.
Willie Young will start in Allen’s place.
Wide receiver Brandon Marshall is active for the NFC North tilt after being listed as questionable on the final injury report because of a sprained ankle.
